The Big Day of Giving
May 5, 2015
On Tuesday, May 5, 2015, La Familia Counseling Center, along with 500+ other local nonprofits, will participate in a national event, The Big Day of Giving charity event. The Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour giving challenge that will occur on May 5th from midnight to midnight. We need your help. Please support La Familia Counseling Center, Inc. by doing the following:
1. Visiting our GivingEdge profile if you haven’t already done so. The link is: http://givingedge.guidestar.org/NonprofitProfile.aspx?OrgId=1135660 . At the moment, we only have a little over 150 views. Please keep sharing and viewing!
2. Donating online on Tuesday, May 5th at https://www.bigdayofgiving.org from 10:00AM-11:00AM. Search for La Familia Counseling Center, Inc. under the “Leaderboard” tab. Cash and check donations will also be accepted at La Familia Counseling Center, Inc.
3. Visiting either Raphael Delgado Art Studio or La Familia’s Suite G on Tuesday, May 5th to support our staff and organization. At Suite G, VSP Mobile’s van Seelia will be available for participants to tour. There will also be giveaways and free eye exam vouchers for those who qualify. Not only that, popcorn and snow cones will be given to participants.
